So there!

You might have wondered where I've been all these months... or not. Either way I'll give you a brief rundown, sparing the mundane details.

It was all kinda downhill since Oct. '09. In Dec. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. Not that big of a deal as far as diseases go, but when undiagnosed and unchecked? Well, things start falling apart... literally. So October, November, December - sucky suck suck suck. December actually was the month of absolutely non-functioning meltdown.

Today? On medication, getting regular blood tests and sorting this sh** out. Still have to be careful. For example - Had you timed my resting heart rate in December it would have been 'round about 140 bpm. Kinda crazy.

I'm feeling quite motivated, inspired and ready to stir things up now that I'm feeling better.

Hopefully this is a trend that will stick with me for quite some time.

So there, I said it, that's all I'm gonna say ;)

sorry to hear about the sicky stuff, sounds like it's all uphill now though ;). and no matter how minor a disease may seem to those who've known someone who has experienced something more severe, when you're the one experiencing said minor affliction, it seems pretty major. so all the best for keeping your naughty thyroid under control!
take care

Exactly, sometimes I feel silly for making a big deal out of it. But it IS a big deal for me. Also, it helps me take it more seriously and take care of myself better.
