Migraine Aura

Ever hear of a migraine aura? I hadn't until last year when I abruptly started to go numb in my left arm and lips and started to see a neon halo around everything. It ended up in the mother of all migraines. I haven't experienced another one until last Friday. I won't go into all the details, but needless to say this one was much worse and ended with me slurring speech and being utterly confused. John and my Mom had to show up to drag me from work. Most of the morning is a bit fuzzy, but I did manage to save this conversation I had with my friend Joaquin later from FB.

It's kinda scary to think how out of control I was, but also hilarious. Let's hope it's a LONG time before one of these hit again!
