I read The Kite Runner & A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini back to back. I heard some people mention that they didn't think A Thousand Splendid Suns was as good as The Kite Runner.
I couldn't disagree more. Not only are they both superbly written, but I believe they give a unique insight into the recent history of Afghanistan.
If you've been putting off reading these books (for whatever reason!), please buy yourself a copy and tucked in.

i STILL haven't read a thousand suns, but the kite runner was AMAZING. i haven't cried more while reading a book in a very long time. i'm refusing to watch the movie for awhile because i can't believe it will even hold a candle to the book. any advice there? anyway, i'm glad you love his writing too, i think he's incredible.
I haven't seen the movie, but I heard they did as good a job as could possibly be done. It's on my Netflix, I'll let you know after I watch it :)
You should really read A Thousand Splendid Suns, you would really enjoy it!
